Dazu Grottoes

One of China's four Buddhist cave sites, the Dazu grottoes are similar to those of Luoyang and Datong, although many believe these to be more beautiful. The thousands of carvings and statues spread over 40 different sites have been collectively named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
