Trip Summary

Chinese Culture, Adventure, Gourmet, At a Glance, Nature

Thousands of tourists visit the Great Wall every day, but few actually get to sleep on it! This guided tour gives you the chance to get up close and personal with one of the most scenic sections of the Great Wall. You'll be able to soak in the tranquil and awe-inspiring atmosphere of this ancient structure at Gubeikou, a quieter, unrestored section of the Wall, where you will spend the night camping among the watchtowers. In the morning, you'll get to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime sunrise over the stone ramparts and surrounding mountains before traveling back to Beijing.

We'll be sure to take you to the capital's major must-see sights too, including the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, the Summer Palace, and the venues from the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Food lovers can rest easy in the knowledge that all of the meals we include are fine examples of authentic Chinese food, from hot pot to Peking duck.

Your tour package can be customized to suit your needs. Ask your agent if you would like to modify any part of your itinerary.
