A modern museum which preserves a number of historic artifacts of Tibetan culture. The Tibet Museum is located next to the Potala Palace. Its collection includes ceramics, Tibetean constumes, masks, and jewelry. The Tibet Museum also houses the original copy of the 17-point agreement signed in 1951 marking Tibet's re-unification with China. Also of interest is the Golden Urn that China used to select a Panchen Lama.
