This tour package goes a step further than our classic Golden Triangle tour, adding a visit to Chengdu, another of China's most vibrant and fascinating cities. Combined with visits to Beijing, Xi'an, and Shanghai, this tour will show you the very best of what China has to offer, from the Great Wall to adorable pandas.

This guided tour starts in Beijing, where you'll get to visit some of China's most famous attractions, including the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, the Summer Palace, and more. Your time in Beijing will include a number of interesting cultural activities too, including a rickshaw tour of the city's famous hutong alleyways.

We'll also take you to the outskirts of Beijing to visit the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, known for its great views, smaller crowds, and thrilling toboggan run down the mountainside!

From Beijing, you'll continue on to Xi'an. Here, you'll pay a visit to the must-see Terracotta Warriors, in addition to a number of equally memorable adventures: cycling the city walls, exploring the Muslim quarter, and tasting delicious local delicacies, to name but a few.

You trip will then take you to Chengdu, where you'll have the opportunity to get up close to China's cutest national treasure—the giant panda! You'll also have plenty of chances to experience Chengdu's famous culinary tradition, from street snacks to spicy hot pot.

You'll wrap up your tour in Shanghai, one of the most populated cities in the world. While in this booming metropolis, you'll stroll along the historic waterfront of the Bund, wander the winding alleyways of the Former French Concession, and enjoy panoramic views of the city from the top of Shanghai Tower.

Airport Pickup & Transfer to Your Hotel – Your private guide and driver will escort you to your hotel, assist you with hotel check-in, and answer any questions you may have about your travel arrangements. Mutianyu Great Wall – this scenic section of the Great Wall has been restored but is still far less touristy (with toboggan and cable car)
