While traveling in Beijing, spending a morning learning Tai Chi is a nice way to stretch out and get ready for a day of sightseeing.
There are several places you can take this hour-long Tai Chi class, but we usually take our guests to the Temple of Heaven park, where you can practice Tai Chi in the shade of ancient trees and with the historic temple structures as a backdrop. This park is also a great place to observe local culture, as many locals come here to do their own Tai Chi and other morning activities.
